Is Brigham Young University really very strict?
Asked by croato87I'm interested in transferring to BYU because of their business program. I know BYU has a strict honor code that its students supposedly have to adhere to, and it involves, among other things, a clause disallowing any form of pre-marital sex. In my experience, most codes of this nature are barely enforced at all, and their adherents usually are even more promiscuous than most people. However, I just want to make sure before I transfer: if I transfer to BYU, will I be able to party and get laid?

BYU has been ranked #1 for the past almost 10 years as the most stone-cold sober university in the U.S., so you'll be hard-pressed to find any party anywhere. You'll also be hard-pressed to find any girl that would want to have sex before marriage. BYU strictly enforces their honor code. You are kicked out of class if your sideburns are longer than your ears (for guys). This code is strictly viewed. Go Cougars!!!!! Rise and Shout!!!!!
