Did you go to Caltech (California Institute of Technology)?

I am going to be a sophomore in high school this coming school year. i always got pretty good grades. B's and A's went to private school most of my life. I will be transferring to public school this coming year. And i want to attend Caltech for college. So what can i do, to increase my chance of getting accepted once i graduate from high school? What kind of grades should i achieve for, is there a particular subject i should work to achieve high grades in. Btw, i suck in math. Also, if i wanted to study astronomy, would Caltech be a good choice? If not, what would you recommend?

CalTech is an excellent school for astronomy, but not a good school if you suck at math. If you want to study astronomy, you're going to need a PhD, and to get into a PhD program in astronomy, you need to major in physics. And you can't major in physics without taking at least two semesters of calculus, two semesters of math-based physics, linear algebra, and differential equations. If you suck at math, astronomy and CalTech are NOT for you.
