California State University - Long Beach?
Asked by KatListen up anyone who goes to California State University Long Beach (especially peepz from outwith California)! I am looking into applying to attend this uni as sounds perfect for me and would like students views on how good it really is? Its a big decision for me as I live in the UK. Pros, cons, help and advice would be great. Thanks guys! x

The CSU schools are not very highly regarded. For California residents who are paying in-state rates, they provide a decent education for the price. However, for someone from out of state or out of the US, the tuition would be a lot higher. You could get a better education at a better price by choosing your university at random. Seriously, you could throw a dart at a list of universities and you would probably hit one that gives you a better education for the cost. If you have decent grades and SAT scores and really want to be in California, then I would suggest applying to one of the University of California schools or a private school, rather than a Cal State school.
