Which is the better university; Northeastern or Clark? (socially, academically, extracurriccular wise)?

Asked by Chandu
I have a 1930 on my SAT, 3.8 GPA, and a modest amount of extracurriccular stuff related to goverment and good recommendations. Im just going to be applying to these 2 schools because I heard that both of them are pretty good (although i dont know how good) and I think I may have a fair chance of getting in. Id greatly appreciate any answers. Thanks guys :)

Well, according to PrincetonReview, and my own experience with students/alumni from those two university, I think Clark is stronger academically, but Northeastern is definitely more popular (probably due to location and CO-OP system). Given your stats, I think you won't have any problems because of SATs or GPA (Congrats, by the way, on doing so well!). If you have the chance, you should visit! I've heard great things about Clark, but mostly related to their sciences and foreign languages. Not sure how you'll like Worcester (I liked it, but I have an unusual taste). Northeastern, on the other hand, is gorgeous. Its right down the street from downtown, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and all their buildings are so nice and shiny. Good luck!
