Is it possible? Ivy League for me?

Asked by OfLove
I am about to be a college freshman at Clayton State University in GA. My intentions are to transfer as soon as possible, as I do not feel the school offers what I am looking for personally. Once I have completed one year in which I am attempting at LEAST a 3.5 GPA ( with a prospective courseload of approximately 25-30 credit hours) I hope to transfer into Emory University, where I WILL maintain a GPA of 4.0. I plan on participating in one athletic program and working on campus, leading a student organization, playing an instrument, and holding a position in the top half of my class. Will I be considered, assuming the previous conditions are met, into an Ivy League school as a prospective student? Please do not tell me that the schools are overrated; that reply is getting mundane. Popsicle, you do not know me. When I want something, I GET it. If i want an A, I will do what is necessary to achieve that. I have not begun college yet... And I personally know people attending Emory who were accepted with less than a 4.0. That is my ultimate GPA goal...

Well generally speaking the criteria to transfer to an exceptional school is higher than to get into the University in the first place, and more competitive too. First of all to get into Emory, which is a darn good school, you will need a 4.0 to get in. I have not read about Emory in particular but I have read that Stanford, which is an equivalent school, is next to impossible to transfer into.
