Is Clemson University a good school for astronomy?
I've looked at the majors at Clemson, and all it has is physics. Do you just major in physics with a minor or concentration in astronomy?

Clemson does offer astronomy classes. They employ about 6 or 7 astronomers in addition to their larger physics department. I don't know if they offer an undergrad major in astronomy, but they do a lot of research in astronomy, so you'd be prepared to go on to a Ph.D. program (you mostly just need physics to get into a grad astronomy program). In addition, they also get a LOT of telescope time in Arizona and Chile, and they get undergrads involved in research if you're interested. Email me if you want more info - I'm at Clemson, if you haven't guessed that already. eridalus@yahoo.com
