is there anything to do in the city of clemson, SC?
Asked by surreality37im planning to go to Clemson University but i dont want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere. is there anything to do in Clemson or the surrounding area? what about shopping malls and movie theatres?

It's a beautiful area, with lots to do. There's whitewater rafting a little ways north (they filmed "Deliverance" there.), and places to hike, camp, or go boating. The college has the usual extra-curricular activities there, like salsa classes, various clubs, concerts, etc. For "city" activities like big clubs, you'll have to drive a little bit, but it's not unreasonable.
