What minimum GPA is usually required by public Universities from transfer students?

Asked by Johnny
e.g. Clemson, University of South Carolina, University of Maryland. It doesn't say it anywhere on their website, so I assume that the GPA you transfer with is not that important (?). Some schools don't even require anything besides the official transcript when the student has aready completed 30 credit hours of course work. So I assume the only criteria HAS to be the GPA. Why wouldn't they tell you what the minimum GPA is, though? Thanks.

every state has its own requirements. the required gpa is lower in a state in which you live in. for instance, for you living in the midwest to go to UCLA you would need a 3.4 to get in where as if you live in Calilfornia you would only need a 3.2. Each school may have their own requirements on top of the state sponsored number but to be part of the system they have to at least meet the minimum requirements.
