Do you recommed Cleveland State University for masters?

Asked by sngd
I have been admitted by Cleveland State University for masters. Although I would really like to study, I am not totally sure whether the huge amount of out-of-state tuition worth it (as I live abroad) to go to CSU. I have also been admitted in some other schools, and so far CSU seems to be the most attractive but I am not able to decide on it. Can someone give me advice, or any suggestion to go to CSU

I had the WORST experience at Cleveland State. I have talked to people who have had no problems at all, but based on my experience, I would not recommend it. I went two semesters and transferred to Baldwin-Wallace. During my time at CSU, I was given the run around. I got different answers from everyone I talked to. For example, I was told that I could graduate in one year, then later was told I was lied to (my adviser told me this is common) and that I could finish in two years, and then later was told they were wrong again, now it is three years. I spent over $100 for a parking pass, which gives you access to several parking garages and lots. When my normal garage was full, they told me they were NOT ALLOWED to give me any information on where to find another garage that I was allowed to park at with my parking pass. I ended up driving around Cleveland for an hour looking for other places to park. They told me I was eligible for a scholarship, then when I didn't get it, they told me it was because I had too many credit hours, yet they failed to tell me I would not be receiving it, I had to call and find out why it was not applied. They told me all of my classes from my previous college would transfer, yet once I transferred, I was told that I had to retake most of my classes because although they do transfer, they don't count. There are so many issues I can not list them all. I hope that if you do decide to go to CSU, your experience is better than mine. Good luck to you.
