Can you transfer to a non UC/CSU from a California JC?
Like Brown, or Colby, or any of those colleges? I'm sure it varies college to college, but are there top colleges that will take a JC student if they do very well? I am a white student, and, even worse, MALE.... (I know, I know, what's wrong with me?)

Absolutely, if they take transfer students at all. Some schools like to have four years of control over their students' educations, but others recognize the advantages of admitting students who have proven their ability to handle college-level work. There is also the advantage that transfer students are often a more diverse group than are those applying as freshmen, and some of these elite, private schools can show more inclusive numbers if they include transfer students in their statistics (this won't help you if you are a White student, but it does mean that these schools are at least open to looking at transfer students).
