How bad does a 2 look?
Asked by NamelessI am thinking of applying to colleges like Bates, Colby and other fairly elite small liberal arts schools. I got a 2 on my AP exam for english. How bad does this look and how much does it effect my chances. Are their any ways to cancel the grade so colleges dont see it or prove that I just had a really bad test day?

It, of course, doesn't look as great as a 5 but it doesn't hurt your chances of getting into the college. It still shows that you are serious about your future by the fact that you took an AP class and also took the AP exam for that class. And you did work hard enough to at least get a 2, so its not terrible. Besides, colleges only see your AP exam results if you specifically send them via collegeboard.
