With my academics, what should I be looking at?
This is my academic ranks. I have a 95.49 gpa (my school doesn't go on the 1-4.0 gpa), i am ranked 14 of 118 students. my sat scores are critical reading 540, math 550, and writing 550. i took the act and got 22. i am honestly very ashamed of these scores, but they are what they are..(i am retaking them, but that doesnt mean they will dramatically go up.) Throughout high school, advanced courses I have taken are adv chemistry, adv physics, and AP English Language. This year, I am taking AP Biology and AP English Literature along with photography (and the rest of my courses.. economics, pre-calc, pe, etc) I also am in national honors, and am a treasurer of a recycling group in school and have volunteered at a hospital. My question here is, how do I stack up? I want to major in psychology, so what rank schools do I look at? Truthfully, I am looking at Tufts, Colby College, Lehigh, Lafayette, and Brown, is this practical? Those are my reach schools, however I like them a lot.

you need to improve those scores to make it even worthwhile to apply at those schools. also you need more more more activities...... With your grades, it is a foregone conclusion that you are in national honor society..... pick 2 of them for applications.... then look at other schools. with psychology, it really does not matter all that much where you go to school... it matters more where you do your masters and doctorate.... Sine these reach schools have pretty good programs across the board, and the purpose of undergrad years is to become an educationally balanced person, you could benefit.
