first or second year in college?
do any of you go to a community college..if so, how does the frshman/sophmore year work...do they go by credits...would anyone know how it works at Santiago Canyon College...I am a bit confused...I finished my first year but my counsler told me i am still a freshman...is it true that this year i will be a sophmore but by credits i am a freshman.. if not, can someone explain it to me how it works...

Most schools go by a credit designation. For instance, many 4 year schools require 120 credits for graduation, so: < 30 credits - Freshman < 60 credits - Sophomore <90 credits - Junior > 90 credits - Senior With a light enough course load, you could be a fourth-year freshman.
