Most colleges allow homeschooled students to apply. Contact the admissions department at the College of the Canyons now, and ask them what they require of homeschooled applicants. Then make sure you do those things during your high school years, so you're ready to apply. In addition, to my knowledge, College of the Canyons IS a community college. That means they have open admissions. You should not have a problem getting in, so long as you meet their basic requirements. Again, contact them now so you know you're doing the right coursework in high school, so you'll be ready to go there for college. There should be no reason why you'd need to attend a college near your home first, then transfer. If you want College of the Canyons, apply there directly.
