How do I become a Park Ranger? Is there a special school or program to attend?

Someone in my family is a park ranger. She majored in Environmental Science, but the Park Service hires people with many different backgrounds. You might try the National Park Service website for more information. You'll need to really want to do that job, as the pay is very low, the programs are underfunded [at least under this administration] and there aren't a lot of opportunities for advancement. But my family member loves the job!
