i want to be an author, go to the college of Charleston and be successful. any words of wisdom?

Apply to the college and start your classes.. work HARD at doing your very best in those classes. Write.. every day! without fail! then, submit what you write for publication.. ignore the rejection letters, because there will be MANY.. and keep at it.. and never EVER let anyone tell you that you CAN'T! I know this from personal experience.. I am in college AGAIN after 30 years.. and I have been a writer for many years.. to accomplish ANY goal, you must have.. and USE.. perseverence and determination. Good luck.
