Narrowed down my college search between UC Santa Cruz and College of Charleston. Which do u think is better...
Asked by JakeI'm sorta unsure what my major is but im thinking maybe marine biology or environmental science. I liked the Santa Cruz marine lab but I don't like the fact the school just started giving grades like 3 yrs ago...sorta gives it a bad rep u know

I went to College of Charleston for a semester. The ratio of guys to girls is nearly 1:5 . So, that's a plus. As far as schooling goes, all the teachers were WAYY too liberal. I wouldn't consider myself conservative by any means, but there are just too many pycho-environmentalists. They care more about the environment than the local people. There's a ton of homeless people in Charleston. The city, is great, there's nothing like it. Great place to visit. Not so great to live there though. Nearly all the girls have STD's, and EVERYONE drinks. It's a liberal party school. What can I say? Glad I got out. I wouldn't think UC Santa Cruz would be worse. If you're into partying, and not into school, like diseases and homeless people, go for CofC. Otherwise, I'd say UC Santa Cruz.
