Is it easy to get a job on campus your freshman year of college?
I'm going to the College of Charleston next year and I need a job right when I get there. I am living in Brazil right now as an exchange student, and when I get back in May, I'll be headed for college a few months later! Living here for a year will cost me a lot of money because I'm also going on a big trip to the Amazon(!) which will take a big chunk of my saved college money. I need a job ON CAMPUS because I won't beable to drive my freshman year. So what's a good job to get on campus, when, and how do I get it? Oh-And if you have been to C of C, tell me some tips please =) Thanks.

There are many Work/Study program at every college. However applications need to be done well in advance of being a freshman. You best get in touch with the college you're attending upon your return and get the paperwork going. You may be too late for next year but every moment you waste is a day less you have a getting one of those work/study jobs. They go fast. You snooze you loose they say.
