How can you turn around a resistance to studying in high school to be prepared for college in the fall?

My daughter as a high schooler was resistant to studying and therefore struggled with her academics. I know the tough schedule in college and how fast the learning goes and I am worried about her struggling too much and not doing well. She is attending a community college in the fall in order to bring her grades up for acceptance into a 4-year college next year. If someone has an idea how to change bad study habits and a resistance to help into a workable plan for college academics that would be great. My daughter is creative and is going into the film industry in hopes of becoming a movie director.

Creative people have different learning styles. High school doesn't encourage or embrace different learning styles. She will probably have a better time in college, however, she needs to know her first couple of years will be the basic classes and she will have to pass them to get to her desired classes in her major. Community Colleges have a lot of supportive tutoring and other services she needs to take advantage of. She could also take some diagnostic tests that reveal her own learning style to her so she can start to work smart and in sync with her style. Good luck!
