My husband wants to study English in college and wants to be an editor. What are the best colleges?
He just decided he wants to be an editor. I'm not sure whether he wants to be a book editor or work for a newspaper or what. What should he focus on in English? I know there are a few tracks he could go for such as Creative Writing, Literature and so on. Also what are some of the best colleges for English programs in the US? I'm not thinking Ivy League here.

University of Missouri- Columbia one of the best journalism/writing program - non Ivy Ol Miss - has produced many great writers and so on - as there are a lot of good schools - No matter of what type of editor he wants to be - he will need a fair amount of technical writing and creative writing - he can develop good editing skills through with the schools newspaper of working in a writing lab
