What should I study before going to college to study English?
Asked by Alan SI'm an international student that is going to college this fall to study English. I intend to major in English or Creative Writing and minor Education. What should I study before going to college? Any advices? What should I expect?

The best way is to read a lot and expose yourself to many different kinds of text. I was a Literature major in college and delving into the classics is very beneficial, especially for a creative writing individual such as yourself.
