Does 4 yr private university accept credit from community college?
Asked by kevin425650Does 4 yr private university accept credit from community college? (Community college name : College of san mateo) For example if i take college Chemistry in community college and i receive an A.......do I need re-take again if i go to private 4 yr university? (I am a high school Junior) So is it better to take AP class instead of community college course?

Usually the only credits that are transferable would be from one comm. college to another, and sometimes that is not enough for them to agree to transfer the credits.(or vise versa, from one private UN. to another). So I can imagine that they absolutely would not transfer credits from a comm. college to a private university.
