High School Internship in Astronomy?
Dear Readers, I am currently a High School Junior at Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, California. I am quite interested in Astrophysics, Physics, & Astronomy. I have been planning to take an internship near the Bay Area in these fields. Currently my plans for the summer are: Physical Education at Serra (to fulfill Graduation Req.) 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. (Possibly) Calculus at City College of San Francisco or College of San Mateo Unknown Time (Defidently) Internship in Astrophysics, Astronomy, or Physics. Does anyone know any internship in Astrophysics, Astronomy, or Physics? Thanks.

There are a lot of them out there, but most of them cater to undergrads or graduate students. You might find one on the AAS website (www.aas.org/career/summer.php), and I'd try NASA. I know that NASA has summer programs for high school students, maybe you can find one at JPL. Good luck! Don't forget to apply for these when you're in college as well.
