Can you live at Columbia University dorms even if you are from New York City?
Asked by 80999I want to apply to Columbia Univ. & live on campus even though I am from Brooklyn. Is it possible to do that?

Yup. If you get in, make sure you complete their housing form as early as possible (I'm pretty sure freshman are guaranteed housing, but earlier is always better). Many kids at Columbia are from the NYC area, and according to collegedata.com 99% of freshman live on campus (and 97% of all students live on campus). I'd worry about getting in first. :) Good luck.
