Two options for college which one?
My goal is to become a Fighter Pilot in the Air Force. I was declined the Academy and narrowed my options to the following for college: 1. Santa Fe Community College for one year getting my AA which is 100% paid for and then transferring into the University of Florida to finish all the while taking Air Force ROTC at UF. During this option, I will continue working my job at 12/hr full time using most of the money to pay for private pilot's training. A drawback would be that I would either live at home or rent an apartment in Gainesville (home is in Lake City, 45mins away). 2. Go to Embry-Riddle for four years the latter three on AFROTC scholarship (100% paid for). However, this means I need to pay $25-30,000 the first year. Please help me out. Thank you.

Embry-Riddle is a fantastic school for aspiring pilots. It's your call, but I think the extra debt would be worth the name recognition, instruction, and not having to balance school, work, and lessons.
