need help picking a major in college?

Asked by hurley_natl
I am only a (soon to be junior) in high school, and im pretty sure im going to college. I go to a very good roman catholic college prep. school, with a gpa of about 3.2ish, but i play baseball, on the mock trial team, do community service (school requires it). any ways, i want to be in the air force for a full 20 years. Im not sure what job, but i want to do it. In college, i plan on doing afrotc and becoming an officer. Im not good at algebra or calculas, but i had a 98% in geometry. Do colleges have geometry majors? and would the airforce consider this a technical degree and accept it?

Try petersons.com, you can search by how competitive/selective a college is, and you can search by major. I've never heard of a geometry major, but definitely math, and geometry is a precursor to cal, and most math majors I know go up to cal 4 in college. I don't know about the air force stuff, but you maybe able to find a school that has some sort of partnership. I know some people do ROTC or the corps while they are in college.
