Which college is better? Penn State University Park or Drexel University?
I have been accepted into Penn State University Park, Drexel University, and the University of Scranton. I wanted to know which one I should pick. I am pursuing to become a family doctor. At Penn State, my major would be pre-med. At Drexel and Scranton, my major would be biology. Any information, advice, anything that you can give me to help me make my decision. Which would provide me with a better chance at going to med school? Which program has a better rate of success? A student from which school would a medical school more likely accept. Please give me any and/or all advice that you have. Thanks! To comment on Andy P, I am also from the Scranton area.

Well....I graduated from PSU and hail form the Scranton area. I'm also a Drexel MBA Grad. Your best bet is to go to PSU and get the big ten experience. Not only is it the better school for your major but there will be more opportunities for you afterwards. Scranton is a good school too but not for your major. Have you ever been to Scranton? It pretty much sucks; its nothing but a repressed former coal mining town with backwoods mentality. PSU is very diverse for being in the middle of nowhere. Drexel is in Philly and I would be surprised if they didn't have a pre-med prgram with them just buying Hannahman Graduate Hospital. You should check into that a little more. Still for the price and experience nothing beats Pennstate. Drexel is okay but very expensive and metropolitan. Scranton is the worst place on Earth, once was called the armpit of America. Where ever you go be involved with as much as you can. Whether its sports, clubs or activism just be involved. It will make you college experience more worth while.
