Does anybody have any information on East Carolina University?
Asked by LaxmxHi, I've been looking online for good colleges in the Carolina area and i came across East Carolina University. It looks like a good fit for me, and i was wondering if anybody had any type of information. Anything will help; is it challenging to get into, does it have good academics, hows the student life, etc... If anybody has any information it would help me a lot.

I personally haven't heard great things about it. I would recommend a school like Wake Forest instead if you want a good education. UNC has become extremely hard to get into and Duke's student life isn't great for certain people. Clemson might be another good choice. Its academics have really improved. it has a really nice campus and then you have the good sports program so it can be exciting to go to some of the games. ECU is not that hard to get into. At least not in the family I come from. The average GPA is a 3.42 and the SAT is 1048. It is supposedly very diverse economically, socially, academicaly and in almost every way.
