Capitalization sheet?
Dear Harry, My Uncle, Ted Smithers is Senator Coulter’s Campaign Manager. Last summer my parents allowed me to spend four weeks traveling with Uncle Ted and the senator. Most of our time was spent in the South. In each city we met the mayor; in Atlanta, Georgia, we even met the governor. The senator spoke at fund raising dinners and on college campuses. When I left, the senator and his wife Margie presented me with goodbye gifts. He gave me a ring from the far East and Margie gave me a subscription to my favorite magazine, A Typical Teen. I hope to see you in the spring. Are there any capitilzation mistakes??

My uncle . . . .Names of relationships are capitalized only when they are a part of or a substitute for a person's name. (Often this means that when there is a modifier, such as a possessive pronoun, such as the "my" in your example, in front of such a word, we do not capitalize it) campaign manager . . . Do not capitalize when the title is acting as a description following a name Far East . . . Region names are capitalized when they stand alone and are widely understood to designate a specific geographic area.
