Does anyone know the cost to learn cosmotology at Empire Beauty School in Virginia?
Asked by JamieMy girlfriend wants to attend Empire Beauty School but they will not tell her how much it cost to attend until they schedule a tour. I'd like to know how much to take up cosmotology and get your hair license. The school will not tell us the price.

Hey, well I just singed up there this Friday. The tuition here in RI is $16,480 I am guessing it is about the same at every school because they are a franchise. Just know that you need an additional $100 that is needed right when you go to sign up, they ask for it at every location, it's for registration, and paperwork. So if you think she is going to sign up that day make sure you have it, I didn't and had to come back a second time. I was able to get financial aid and student loans, in the end I am going to have to pay $7,000 after graduation, but they give you up to 10 years if you go through the United States Department of Education. Their school is one of the cheaper in my area, and they teach you on many different product lines, unlike places like Paul Mitchell. If you only learn on the Paul Mitchell line or just one line it isn't good because you have less work oppertunities when you complete the program. Anyways, I really liked what I seen, and they have a paid trip to PA and Hershey Park every year where all the Empire schools go and have a convention!
