I want to become a lawyer. What should my major be at a Community College?
I'm currently attending Glendale Community College in Glendale, California. I'm thinking of going to UCLA for Law. But I don't know where to start & which major at GCC to take. This is the site for the list of majors at GCC. Any help or insite is appriciated. www.glendale.edu/transfercenter/majorsheets/index.htm

One of the first steps is to check out the Law School's requirements for entering students. You can get a feel from that for the kinds of majors that might work best for you. You could also check to see what percentage of students have what degrees. It may be most important that you choose something you love and would do well in. Taking the basic general education courses is usually a good start. English, math, science, political science or government, history, and so forth. Good luck as you work toward your goal.
