so i applied for GCC (in CA) this month and im still waiting for my FAFSHA to progress. do i need a placement test in order to enroll classes, cuz i havent taken one yet. if i DO need the test then am i too late considering schools staring on sep 2 and its aug 18 now? im an incoming freshmen and need some SERIOUS help PLEASE! what classes should i take n which professors are nice?? the more info the better please!

You probably do need to take an assesment test where they usually check your math,reading and writing levels.This is done first because they determine which classes you qualify for.In my college at least I was able to skip the reading class because I got a high score on it. So the better you do on those tests the more classes you will skip.Once you have taken these tests, you can then register for your classes.I would check the website of your school for better info: Here the link for information for new students: www.glendale.edu/new/index.htm What I told you is not from the same college but I assume it would be the same.If that doesn't solve your questions then go to your college's advisors or counselor to answer them.
