community college tranfer student help?

ok i did really bad in high school, and i just finished two semesters, 1 year at a community college, and now i want to tranfer my gpa is a 2.46 which im assuming would average to a 2.5? what are my chances with a great essay, and letter of reccomendation. I have improved more and more each semester, I want to transfer to salem state, mount ida, gordon college, curry, and merrimack all colleges.

Well, no, a 2.46 will not average to a 2.5- they are two distinctly different grade point averages and if the colleges that you are applying to request a 2.5 minimum for transfer students, then you clearly do not meet that gpa requirement- sorry! You will need to work on getting the gpa up even higher, getting 3 good letters of recommendation, and a decent essay.
