Should I attend Technical or regular college?

Asked by whatever441
This technical college called gwinnett tech, i heard its good and I really want to go there b/c i can get a job there in 6 months and get my associate degree n then go to a university to get my bachelor degree. I know if i go to a university, i would fail my classes and waste my money and i have to get a job so my parents won't have to work anymore. So what's your opinion.

well, first i would ask why you think you would fail out of a university? are you a poor student now? do you find picking up new things difficult? if so, then maybe a regular, 4-year university isnt for you. not everyone belongs at a 4-year school, and many people end up with great jobs after graduating from technical schools. you can make a lot of money knowing a technical trade. the thing is, technical schools' classes arent super easy- they are still at college level, so you have to ask yourself whether you can handle that. you can also gain assoc and bachelor's degrees from a community college- they arent as competitive as state or private schools and you may find it a bit easier. good luck, and try not to stress yourself out too much- it sounds as though you have huge expectations, which is great, but make sure the pressure is at a level where you can handle it
