What are the requirements to be a top univerisity globally like Harvard University?
Asked by Confused_gurlI mean I am studying in one of the best university here in Asia only in my country,but not around the world,because it only rank 383 around the world....does it mean that all the universities here lack so much intelligence so much compare to harvard,stnford,cambridge,yale university?

Some ranking systems are arbitrary and rely on factors like how much of an endowment a university has. Colleges all over the world are different. It I think rankings depend upon what they measure, you can't just rely on a number. See what the ranking uses to come up with these numbers. There are great universities all over the world. In general, rankings like that don't matter a whole lot.
