Will i get in to these colleges??
Asked by pretzelday514I have a 790 CR, 780 writing, and 630 math. What are my chances of getting into the following colleges: Bryn Mawr Smith Haverford Bates College Also, has anyone gone to these schools? Any advice for the applications?

With a 2200 SAT, you have a good shot at getting into any of these schools, all of which are wonderful. Obviously, it also depends upon things like your GPA, the rigor of your coursework, extracurricular activities, etc. And yes, I would say that your essays might make the difference, so I would pay a lot of attention to the character of each institution to be able to answer the prompt in a way which would make you a good fit for them. I'm not saying that you should kiss up to individual schools and pretend to be something you are not, but if, for a particular school values creative thinking, or argumentation, or passionate beliefs, you will want to inject these things into your essays in such a way that they will read it and say, "This is a College X student."
