Taking a year off after college for financial issues?
Okay so right now i live in minnesota and im a junior in high school. I really do not want to attend college here, and i want to attend college out of state, either in california, hawaii, or new york. Im thinking of taking a year off after high school and moving to that state, and getting a job, and possibly community college? Is this a good idea? Because I know i would need to get in-state-tuition in order to go, because out-of-state is wayy too high.

When the coffers are not fully loaded for attending the " better rated " schools, the best bet is to get your education in the state where you presently reside. There are several colleges with good reputations where you can get a degree. As a Junior in high school ,have you discussed this with your parents or is this the product of teen age thinking ? At the moment your thought process isn't mature. You just don't go, get a job and establish residency and fulfill the in state tuition requirements. Don't practice dreams, Practice reality.
