Well, i studied Information Systems at Masters level, and know a thing or two about BIS. Usually, any aspect of information systems will fetch you a job in IT these days, it depends majorly what aspect you are looking at. BIS covers areas such as Account Management, which means you are the interface between the IT service provider and the IT customer (the person who pays for the service) you have an understanding of the technology products, so you can guide the buyer to the best type of service fitting to their needs, BIS also covers aspects such as IT change management, Disaster recovery, IT finance management, IT auditing - which i find very interesting and lucrative - Auditing involves IT security and rists management (not necessarily IT security engineering which involves firewalls, virus etc but more of oversight function, process planning, evaluation etc), BIS also puts you in good position to manage IT projects depending the chosen methodology of the company you work with (eg. 6 sigma) . You can start off as an IT project coordinator, ensuring that information required to successfully deliver an IT Projects are available to the project managers and you will also handle small scale projects and then you can move up to be a Project manager, supervising project engineers, analysing and implemented technology solutions for customers to time and budget. there is alot to talk about, but as you gradually make up your mind, you can IM me and i will advice if i can. Best of luck!
