How easy is it to get into howard university?
Asked by BellegirlI'm interested in transfering to howard university in D.C. I messed up alot and my GPA is really low. I want a fresh start but i'm not sure if i'll get in. anybody got in to the school with a low GPA

According to Peterson's, it's fairly difficult to get in to Howard: www.petersons.com/ugchannel/code/InstVC.asp?inunid=6677&sponsor=1 They admit 47% of the applicants (Harvard only accepts 9% !!) Howard is a great school, but your low GPA will hurt your chances. You could bring up your GPA at another school (a state university or community college) before you try for Howard.
