I'm not really sure of the GPA required to be accepted to either schools, but Bowie should not even be a thought. My cousin was researching, applying, and visiting schools this past year , and I attended the Bowie open house with her. Bowie is a horrible school in my opinion. First of all, it doesn't have a large student body, and the majority of the student body commutes. So, if you don't want to be bored on the weekends, I wouldn't consider Bowie State. Another thing, the dorms are disgusting. They look like crack houses. Last, but not least they are very slow with paperwork. Bowie State is mainly a last resort school.
