I went to international Business College and need to transfer those credits to another school. It is in indiana and I would like to attend ball state, iupui, etc. In other words a decent school. they are accrediated by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. It seems that next to no one will transfer there credits. Indiana weslyn will accept them and is the same accredidation as IUPUI and Ball State. What can I do to get them transfered and who can I transfer them to?

I don't think anyone here would be able to tell you where they'd transfer to without seeing course descriptions and having knowledge of what colleges will accept those course descriptions. And I would wager to say that there are no transfer coordinators browsing Yahoo Answers this morning. LOL I worked in the registrar's office at one point, so I can tell you that it's all based on the course description and what coursework is available at the school you transfer to. What I recommend you do is check out some schools you're interested in transferring to. Call them up, send them your coursework, transcripts, yada yada and give them a few days to sort it out. Then they'll let you know what classes will transfer and for how many credits. In my experience, I will let you know that most base work (core work that everyone is required to do like 100 level course work) is transferred in without difficulty. It's when you get into specialty courses where it becomes harder to get courses transferred in. Good luck to you!
