Would Ohio State or University of Iowa be a great place for me to complete my BS in Biochemistry?
Last semester I had to drop o. chem and physics because they were extremely difficult and time consuming at Michigan. Compared to the quizzes, exams, and assigned homework at schools such as ohio state, iowa, or michigan state we had to do two or three times more work yet I never felt prepared for exams because questions on exams never reflected what was done in class. O. Chem was just as bad we had to do 30 pages of problems that were nothing that was done in class yet o. chem gsi said they could not help us with coursepack problems because it is a form of cheating (even though homework assignment was not graded).

Ochem is hard ANYWHERE you go--and it's a lot of work. You're going to have to face that fact. Physics is also a lot of work and very time consuming. Going to OSU or UI won't change that, believe me. But if you are set on going somewhere else, I would go to Ohio State.
