I'm attending ITT Technical Institute for 4 years to get a Bachelors in Software Engineering. Cost is $84,000.

It depends, but probably. Does your $84k include books and room & board?? If yes, then maybe you kind of broke even. If it doesn't (or even if it does), then most likely you could have gotten yourself into a more well-known university--or at least transferred after you'd proven yourself at ITT--and gotten a degree from a school with some name recognition. However, I am a believer that if you excel anywhere you will stand out no matter where you are, so do a superior job at ITT and there will be no loss (or questions of loss)!!
