Should I study Japanese now if I plan make it my major in college?
I want to major in Japanese during college. I was thinking of studying abroad next summer(of 2009.. I'll be a junior then) and I was also thinking of taking some Japanese courses at an online high school until then. (The high school was Keystone.) Would it be better if I study Japanese now and then in college, or should I wait and just study during college? Another question: I want to study abroad in college as well.. would studying abroad now hurt my chances of doing it then?

I took 105 my first semester and it was fun to learn! You have to be careful though, some colleges require you to take upper level classes if youve taken a certain amount of years of the language, no matter how good you are. So, if you start now, which is a great idea, make sure you stay with it all the way up to freshman year in college.
