Both are good Christian schools. Liberty is better known, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a better school. I would recommend going to the campus and speaking with the students (not faculty). I know that Liberty tends to be very conservative in terms of student rights, so it might not be the perfect fit for everyone. Also check out the Princeton Review pages for both university, the website not only compares them based on factors like size and cost, but also has student comments about them.
