to get into a good state school? or an AVERAGE school on the east coast. preferably rutgers university, marist college....any others in NY/NJ area.... please help.. it's truly much appreciate (college searching is a difficult, frustrating time!)

I think that everyone should shoot for at least 600 on each section. If you can get an 1800 you will be good at most state schools. As far as GPA, the higher the better but try to AT LEAST get a 3.0 unweighted GPA.
