I'm interested in UofChicago, U of Michigan-Ann Arbor, northwestern, UNC, Columbia, Duke, Uoftexas, Notre dame, etc.. so if you have any insight on those, feel free to share! For safeties I was considering: UofI (not completely safe though), UIC, Loyola, Purdue maybe, etc... Location: Illinois Gender: female Currently a Junior in a competitive high school; also a well known and accredited public district in Illinois. (D211). Academic 4.4647: Weighted GPA 3.9091: Unweighted GPA 1 AP as a sophomore (all we could take). AP Euro (4). Currently taking 4 AP's: U.S., Physics B, Lang and Comp, and Psychology Senior courseload: AP: lit, calc AB, Macro, Human, bio, spanish, Rank: 31 out of 641-4.8% I have not taken my SAT or ACT yet. Waiting on my PSATs. Are tests important to uofmichigan? I'm not that great of a test taker, I think my pre-ACT was a 24? I hate how I can get great grades every year but for some schools a test score matters more. =/ Extra Curricular Activities: Student Council Member-9,10,11,(12) Plan on having a couple chairmanships by the end of this year and possibly shoot for the board for senior year. Freshman-Soph Bowling team-9 Varsity bowling team at Hoffman Lanes also during the season. Have not continued bowling with school, but I will join a league this summer. Philosophy Club- discuss whatever's on our minds, life issues, music, justice, etc.. Plan on taking a Philosophy course this summer at a community college SAE (Student Action for Education)-10,11,(12).- Diabetes/cancer walks, Special Olympics volunteer, give out turkey dinners/gifts during the holidays, etc.. Book Club-9,10,(11), (12)-not of a whole lot of importance, just listing it here for you guys to see. Science Club-9-again, small club that I just joined. Physics Club-10-more of a prep class for AP physics, learned some of the curriculum ahead of time. Varsity Girl's Basketball Manager-11,(12)-basically set up the boards, pass out water, help the girls out, film games, take score, etc... Also a Co-captain for Relay for Life (cancer awareness). Earned over $1000 for cancer research and participated in hosting games, fund raisers, etc at the relay. Really fun, plan on doing it again this year. Finally, My friends and I are tryiiing to start up a Volunteer club that would cater to a bunch of local, national, and international charities. I don't think it'll get as far as we hope, but I'm thinking we can get it started soon. Oh, volunteer work: Alexian Brother's Hospital: Work at the Front Desk, greet people, help with directions, deliver items to patients, escort patients, etc.. Volkening Farm: Work at the Special events held for kids-do crafts, cook, kid's games, showcase heritage, farmlife, etc.. Also work at the cabin and do the above, along with gardening, historic preservation, etc. I also plan on finding some sort of animal s

Your chances are almost impossible to calculate due to the fact that you don't have any "real" tests back (like SAT or ACT). However you seem to be an involved student, and I'm sure you have a great chance of getting in. If you want a percentage chance of getting in, than you can go to the website www.mychances.net and enter your information. It's free, so it has ads, and it isn't 100% accurate (they say they are around 90%), but it will help you put a number with your chances.
