UCLA - you need a 4.0 Irvine, UCSB, Davis, San Luis - you need a 3.7 Santa Cruz - 3.5 Riverside - 3.4 Pomona - 3.2 Northridge, SJSU - 3.1 To put it very frankly, your GPA is not nearly close to being high enough to get into most of the schools that you are thinking about. You might have a shot at Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Northridge, and SJSU but probably not while your GPA is under a 3.0. So really there aren't any schools I would say you can get into for sure. California is a very competitive place, and the UCs are some of the best state schools in the country. Just because they are not private, do not underestimate them. I would look at the Cal State Bakersfield campus if I were you, because just about anybody is admitted there. Here are some other Cal State campuses, but your GPA still needs to be above a 3.0 Dominguez Hills -- you need a 3.0 East Bay, Northridge, San Marcos, Los Angeles -- you need a 3.1 Chico -- 3.15 Stanislaus, Fullerton, San Bernardino, Sacramento -- 3.2
