college transfer question!?
Asked by kylithi attended ucr (university of california, riverside), and got really bad grades, and so they told me to take a year off to get myself back on track and go back. the problem is, i don't want to go back to ucr. i'm attending a local community college right now, and i really want to transfer to UCLA or UCI but i really don't know the way about it, and the counselors i've talked to don't really help. does anyone know anything about this? what the proper course might be? also: any recs for a great summer program on film and media?

Go to the UC admissions website. They should have transfer applications on there. However, I think the application process is just like for freshmen, which means you can only apply once a year and you would have to apply this fall for next year. as for summer programs, UCLA would probably have a good program. I think it might be too late to enroll for it for this summer though.
