How do i get into San Jose State University?
So I have 1 1/2 of english with "D's" Is there anyway to make this up over the summer so i can re-apply to San Jose State University to try to get in. Oh, i forgot a major point. I do NOT want to go to jr. college, I want the College experience in a dorm. And i just like SJSU, I really want to go there.

First off, unless SJSU has extended their application deadline, it is too late to apply for admission for Fall 2006. The application deadline for Spring is usually at the end of August. In order to enter SJSU directly from high school, you need to have passed 4 years of English in high school with a grade of 'C' or better. If you do not have the required 4 years, and you want to apply as a freshman, you will need to make up this deficiency with college-level english courses. You can either take them at a community college or through San Jose State's Open University program. I would highly suggest taking your needed classes at community college - it is FAR cheaper than Open University (which runs about $600 per class). Foothill College's summer session doesn't start until July 3rd, and they do offer English classes online. More information about undergraduate admissions at SJSU can be found at: www.calstate.edu/ar/AdmHB2005-2006.pdf I'd also suggest that you talk to an admissions counselor at SJSU about your situation so that you are sure that you get in as quickly as possible.
